regarding the twin bios, iirc i played with a long while ago, it bight even be at the 'dual bios' mode already. At the time his floppy wasnt working, I donn't know what happen but I somehow ended up removing the battery :X due to the floppy issues.
I don't know what the sticker saying, "Phoenix BIOS" refers to, but apparently not to the motherboard BIOS, because that is obviously from Award, which is a different company. or maybe the checksum is held in a battery suppoted ram? acho que minha mobo ja era. from my logic, the checksum should reside inside the rom, so what the message implies is that the rom is not consistent with itself, how can that be? but besides, eventhough the symptoms suggest that it's the battery (shutting down for a short period, and it boots ok), how is it related to the checksum? thanks in advance! the the 1st trial of bios update wasn't successfull. Do you have a BIOS problem?
