I don't understand why wiping the phone would cause the media card function to stop working. When you connect to your computer, you should be able to view the card as well as re-format it from there. Once done I took out the memory card and put it on my phone, it then said media card cannot be accessed due to fatal errors.. Unfortunately, I don't have a card reader to actually check this out on my PC.I saw that there were other posts on here from people with similar issues, but I couldn't So I tried pulling the battery and that didn't work, either. Nov 30, 2012 My Blackberry Bold keeps sending me a message saying my media card has failed because it has a fatal error. it feel and cracked the case and so i thought - ok tansfer the internals to a new case, and the mediacard still doesnt work.
