You should see a new message in your message folder from Sprint. Do you see anything there with the word 'browser" or the "@" symbol for your email? You also never seem to get the device to show 1XEV as your service..often just 1xev or 1x. Here are the steps to get your BlackBerry back into action: Pull your battery Call your provider's BlackBerry support (Sprint in this case) Request them to remove the data plan and Pull the battery to reboot. It happened to me when I reactivated mine. I had to switch out my Curve today for a new one, and I can't provision the phone! it took about 15 mins on the phone and it was straightened out. 9 days waiting. 15 mins to fix. Note: This issue occurs when the Allow Other Browser Services IT policy is set to False and the BlackBerry smartphone has been activated on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server prior to provisioning
Once complete, provision the BlackBerry smartphone and perform an enterprise activation to activate the BlackBerry smartphone with the above IT Policy applied. The bb tech told me it was on their end and it should be up soon.
