One option is to set up a gmail account (free), which you can set up as POP or IMAP. Thanks!But I can get the screen you show, and I enter the top lines and press SAVE. We went through all of the measures I'd taken so far, with no results. I have about a dozen POP3 accounts configured in my Outlook Express and they all work fine except this one.

For a while. If I use the troubled accounts to log on through att.net, which takes you to the yahoo-managed email site, I can send and receive. I also believe there is a domain authentication process that you can follow from their help pages that should let you connect to the SMTP server, but I can't find it check over here I HAVE heard of some ISPs not allowing you any ability to send, and you have to use a third party SMTP.
Things I have observed:The site seems to favor MS Internet Explorer (may be version specific against v.7 and earlier), Firefox, and Chrome. So, Bellsouth has pretty much told me that their email is worthless unless you are at home and using their connection.

I tried two legacy A&T SMTP servers, but failed...I am no longer an active AT&T customer, hence the failures. My recent experience with different tech customer reps is that they are a total waste of time. The first person you spoke to was probably following his script assuming that you were on the Bellsouth network. relays (when they go through).

But it did not solve the problem of not being able to use Tbird to send from that account. Using various help material, nearly all from this string, I got all the problem subaccounts to send. Screen shot attached. Still can't send from anything but the main account.
